The Funeral Party

Avete presente quando si muore? Prima del funerale, parenti e amici vanno a visitare la salma nelle cosiddette “sale del commiato”. Quando arriverà quel momento, voglio che nella mia sala si senta questa precisa selezione musicale di pezzi che creano il giusto mood per le diverse fasi di elaborazione del lutto fino ad arrivare, dopo una buona dose di depressione, al finale caratterizzato da accettazione e speranza con la sonata per piano composta da John Cage. In mezzo troviamo un po’ di miei miti musicali (Joe Jackson, Thurston Moore, Nick Cave, Cure) e tanta musica da film (Fisk & Gibbard, Santoalalla, Badalamenti, Danna, Godrich, Swihart e il grandissimo Joe Hisaishi di L’estate di Kikujiro).
