Descrizione: proto&post-garage-surf-punk-newwave tunes (with a little bit of lo-fi background).
Trattasi della “classica” raccolta di pezzi e di artisti di cui non conoscevo l’esistenza o di cui mi ero dimenticato da un po’ di tempo. L’atmosfera principale è il surf-garage (B-52s, Pyramids, Kingsmen, Standells, Seeds, Modern Lovers) passando per il chitarrismo folk-jazz dell’ungherese Gàbor Szabò (scoperto in un’intervista a Thurston Moore), la new wave di Psychedelic Furs e Fad Gadget (strepitose chicche presenti nella soundtrack di Stranger Things) e lo shoegaze neopsichedelico di un gruppo fondamentale come i Loop.
Si chiude in bellezza con l’immancabile punta di indie rock lo-fi di Clean, Pavement e Archers of Loaf.
